Open doors for the Wirksworth Festival

Boulder Design open its doors again this year to the wonderful people of Wirksworth (and indeed the world!) for the Wirksworth Festival. We hosted two fantastic artists, and of course, below us, the main hall of The Parish Rooms was a focal point for the festival, hosting video and concept installations.
The festival fortnight brings a real buzz to the whole town. The people filtering through the studio seem to leave a legacy of animation and life that lasts for a long time after they depart. And the process of turning the space into a gallery, and back again, gives us a great chance to dust the bits that don’t often get visited...

 

 

We’ll be opening up again this year, so if you’re anywhere in this half of the world you should make the effort to drop in!
